Surrey Therapists’ Book Club: “I hate you, don’t leave me”

You’re warmly invited to join the February therapists’ book club.

February’s read is I Hate You – Don’t Leave Me by Jerold J. Kreisman and Hal Straus, a provocative exploration of borderline personality disorder, attachment, fear of abandonment, and the relational push–pull so many of us recognise in the therapy room.

We’ll be meeting at Bem Coffee in Knaphill for a relaxed discussion with fellow therapists. No pressure. Just honest reflection, curiosity, and connection with people who get the work you do.

Whether you’ve worked extensively with BPD or are still finding your footing, by choosing this book we hope to deepen understanding, share perspectives, and think together about how this material lands in real clinical practice.
