Surrey Therapists’ Book Club: December meet up in Knaphill

If you’re a counsellor, psychotherapist or mental health professional in Surrey who craves a bit of community with people who get it, the next Surrey Therapists’ Book Club meet up is happening soon. Think cosy coffee shop vibes, thoughtful conversation and the relief of chatting with other practitioners who understand the emotional load this work can bring.

The group is friendly, informal and perfect for anyone who wants space to reflect, connect and feel less alone in the work. You don’t need to be a certain “type” of therapist and you don’t need to have anything profound prepared. Come as you are, grab a coffee and join the conversation.

If you’re a Surrey therapist looking for community or you’re curious about joining, you’re warmly invited.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions or want more info.

The Details

Our next pick is Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb, a book that gives such a refreshing, human look at therapy from both sides of the room. Whether you’ve read it before or this will be your first time, there’s plenty to explore about what it means to be a therapist with a real, messy, complicated life behind the scenes.
